Recreational activities have an important function in any community. We are extremely fortunate in having the natural surroundings that provide us with the facilities that give our members healthful exercise and recreation. Our members have the opportunity to develop their skills in swimming, boating, fishing and many other outdoor sports. On three holiday weekends (Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day), community-wide softball games are held in Butterfly Field.

The Lake Arrowhead Club is also a member of Hub Lakes, an organization of area lakes which provides for organized sports competition as well as an opportunity to meet and make friends with members of other communities. Lake Arrowhead has participated in softball, golf, volleyball, bowling, horseshoes, track and field and table tennis, among other activities.
